Margaret Fox, 93, of Sardis, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, at New Martinsville Health & Rehab. Center, New Martinsville, W.V.

She was born February 7, 1932, in Follansbee, W.V., a daughter of the late Vernon and Gertrude Lucas Fiala.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olive Church, Sardis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Fox Sr., a son, Kenneth Fox, a daughter, Charlotte Fox; two sisters, Freda DeLeonardis and Hellen Martin; brother-in-law, Bill DeLeonardis; grandson, Bert Fox III and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Bert S. (Karen) Fox, Samuel (Carol) Fox and Daniel Fox, all of Sardis; three daughters, Norma (George) Pernick of Rayland, Ohio, Rose (Dannie) Butler of Clarington, Ohio, and Margaret (Larry) Smith of New Martinsville; six siblings, Esther Fox, Edward Fiala, Inez Weese, Wanda Diar, Ron Fiala and Betsy Ivill; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Family received friends on Wednesday October 29, 2025, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 37234 Mound St., Sardis, with Mark Roberts officiating.

Burial followed in Locust Grove Cemetery, Sardis.
