Mervin F. Trosch, 90, of Sardis, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, at his assisted living center in Lakewood, Colo. Born on June 5, 1934, in Sardis, Ohio, Mervin was the beloved son of Frederick and Edith Martie Trosch.
 Mervin led a life distinguished by dedication and service. He enjoyed a fulfilling career at Ford Motor Company from which he retired with honor. Beyond his professional achievements, Mervin’s commitment to his community was evident in his active participation in Sardis United Methodist Church, where he served on the lighting committee. He was also a proud member of New Matamoras Masonic Lodge #261. His legacy of service extended through his 18 years of involvement in the Manna program of Sardis, reflecting his deep compassion and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
 Mervin is preceded in death by his son, Daryl Trosch; his parents, Frederick and Edith Trosch; and his brother, William Trosch. He is survived by his children, Don (Kathie) Trosch of Evergreen, Colo., and Diane (Terry Ostrowski) Trosch of Belleville, Mich. Mervin’s legacy continues through his five grandchildren: Brad Ostrowski, Jessica Preston, Danielle (Cory) Harms, Brittani (Brad) Wieties and Brandon (Alyssa) Trosch. He is also survived by two step-great-grandchildren, Jonathan Campbell and Joseph Robbins, and seven great-grandchildren: Justin Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Ryan Ostrowski, Brilee Wieties, Brody Wieties, Paxton Trosch and Sawyer Trosch.
 Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

His life was a testament to service, community, and family, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
