2018 Monroe County Library Summer Reading Program

The Monroe County Library held its annual Summer Reading Program May 29-July9 with the theme “Libraries Rock!” Any child birth through six could join. The program concluded with a pizza party at the Library, which 54 participants attended. One hundred and thirty children joined the program with 87 completing it. Participants had six weeks to read at least ten books. During the six weeks, several activities were planned including Tom Sieling, the music man; Daniel Caron, Nature Photographer; Lauren Burnett, Author; Rock Painting; Kathleen Speelman, book reading; and a karaoke/dance party.
