Council forbids dumping near Woodsfield VFD

When Woodsfield Fire Chief Mike Young saw the piles of scrap wood strewn about the parking lot across Old Airport Road from his firehouse, he wasn’t happy.

The lot had been created for additional parking for the fire department.

At some point in time, that area became an informal dumping ground for village departments. Some of the debris turned out to help the fire department create a strong structural base for its parking lot.
