Many hands lighten the load

Several enthusiastic volunteers donated their Memorial Day weekend to take part in a two-day caravan to the Palace Theatre in Columbus to obtain and transport 600 theater seats made available to the Monroe Theatre by the Palace Theatre. Since the Palace is beginning a refurbishing project, it offered its seats through Heritage Ohio to groups around the state free of charge. The Monroe Theatre Committee was the first to inquire and, therefore, received first choice, as to the number of seats requested.
