May is Older Americans and Community Action Month!

Gary Ricer, CEO of GMN Tri-County, presented the Monroe County Commissioners with two proclamations for the month of May.

May is Older Americans Month, and May is also Community Action Month, said Ricer, who asked for the blessings and support of the commissioners as in the past.

The Older Americans Proclamation urges every resident to take time during May to recognize older adults and the people who serve them as vital parts of the community.
