Road repairs may be a long time coming

With $3 million in weather-related road damage waiting to be repaired, Monroe County’s Engineering Department is scrambling to prepare their applications for state and federal aid.

The governor set a deadline of March 7, and Monroe County Engineer Amy Zwick said that she was hard-pressed to have everything together by that time.
