Woodsfield receives EPA endorsement; hotel possibility

The Village of Woodsfield received a Certificate of Recognition from Director of Ohio EPA Craig Butler for participation in their Source Water Protection Plan during the Woodsfield Village Council meeting Dec. 4. Steven Saines, a hydrogeologist working with the Ohio EPA, said that Woodsfield’s Village Administrator Rick Schuerman and Water and Wastewater Superintendent Paul Robison had been voluntarily working with him on the plan for the past year, and the EPA was very pleased with the results.
