GMN Appalachian Scholarship announcement

Mr. Gary W. Ricer, Executive Director of GMN Tri-County, Inc. is pleased to announce that the COAD David V. Stivison Appalachian Scholarship Fund Year 2018 applications are now available at all area high schools and vocational schools in Guernsey, Monroe and Noble counties.

The scholarship is for $500.00 per county; however, applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible to apply:

1. Eligible applicants must be a resident of the 30-county COAD service area for at least one year before the application deadline.

2. Reside in a household with a total annual income at or below 200% of the Federal poverty guidelines.

3. Have obtained or will obtain a high school degree or GED.

4. Show proof of acceptance by an accredited 2-year or 4-year institution of higher education.

All applicants must submit all application forms and required documentation to GMN Tri-County CAC, Inc. by 04/01/18. (This includes postmarked).
