Showing students there’s no need to be scared of local law enforcement

Teachers and officers noticed something Oct. 8 during the mock full-scale emergency evacuation at Woodsfield Elementary School.

Older students, such as children in middle school and high school, handled the drill well. They were able to follow their teachers’ instructions and knew not to be afraid of local law enforcement officers.

Younger students didn’t take the drill as well.
