Honoring two families’ storied football tradition

Monroe Central Football Coach Jay Circosta has helped shaped the lives of many players during his 50-year career.

During his tenures, Circosta has seen close to 500 players don the Woodsfield and Monroe Central uniforms, with each player leaving his special mark on the storied history of the program.

While there have been many players, two names have become almost synonymous with Woodsfield and Monroe Central football – Habig and Schumacher.
