For the first time in its nearly 60-year history, The Ohio State University’s Farm Science Review, scheduled for Sept. 22 to Sept. 24, will not be held in-person. Instead, a virtual show will be implemented for 2020.

County and Ohio and Lee Township Water and Sewer officials have looked for a way to address the need for a sewer system in Ohio River communities for close to 20 years.
Two area families were reunited with their furry friends thanks to the help of local tree services.
“There are so many unknowns, it’s hard to plan,” said Switzerland of Ohio Board of Education Vice-President Bev Anderson. “But, we do have to begin planning.”
Audrey Lohrey wants to help area children get ready to return to school, knowing they are loved. For the fourth year, she is planning the Love Fest, an event sponsored by God’s Confident Sons and Daughters. But now the location is uncertain because of COVID-19 concerns.
The Switzerland of Ohio Local School District Summer Lunch Pick-up Program will operate every Monday and Thursday through Aug. 13.
Due to COVID-19, all congregate meal site are closed until further notice. Delivery meals to homebound seniors will continue. The following is the senior menu for the week of July 13-17:
