Everett R. Burkhart, 69 of Woodsfield, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020, at his home. He was born October 1,1950 in Cleveland, a son of the late Everett Burkhart Sr., and Dorothy Burkhart Wilson.

Everett was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Woodsfield, American Legion, and Monroe Central Sideliners. He was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and member of the Navy Honor Guard. He worked at No. 6 Coal Mine, and he retired from Conalco/ Ormet after 28 years. He taught for AmeriDrive in Woodsfield, coached many little league, baseball and basketball teams, and was a super father and outstanding Dad.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Burkhart; and step-father, Bruce Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Adrianne Osbourn Burkhart of Woodsfield; son, Ryan (Yvette) Burkhart of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Whitney (Zachary) Bedwell of Downingtown, Pennsylvania; sisters, Norma (Ronald) Rucker of Beallsville; Nancy (Dennis) Miller of Miltonsburg; Tammy Rush of Miltonsburg; granddaughter, Elizabeth, and another granddaughter on the way.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Bauer-Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield.
