Harry E. Isaly, 87, of Beallsville, died Oct. 8, 2020, at his home.

He was born March 21, 1933, in Switzerland Township (Monroe County), a son of the late Lloyd and Florence Bigler Isaly.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired employee of the former Consolidated Aluminum Plant near Hannibal.

Harry enjoyed metal detecting, collecting antiques and cooking for his family. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Carole Yingling Isaly; his children, Kelvin “Woody” Isaly, of the home; Joetta “Jody” (Roger) Shipley, of Jerusalem, Brian Isaly and Jamie Isaly, both of Beallsville; five grandchildren, JoeDon Nip pert, of Sistersville, West Virginia, Donald Nippert, of Alledonia, Kaylin Isaly, of Beallsville, Trent Isaly of Beallsville, and Brittany Taylor of Highpoint, North Carolina; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie (Maxine) Isaly, of Hannibal, and Charles (Judy) Isaly, of Sardis; a sister, Mary Lou Smith, of Michigan. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Earl Isaly, also a sister, Eula Darrah.

According to Harry’s wishes no visitation or funeral services will be held.
