~ KENNETH E. ROBISON ~
Kenneth E. Robison, 74, of Woodsfield, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born March 11, 1944, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Marion E. and Isabella Johnson Robison.
He retired from Conalco/Ormet Aluminum in Hannibal. He was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church of Woodsfield, founder of Woodsfield Bulldogs Pee Wee Wrestling, former head and assistant wrestling coach for Woodsfield High School and Monroe Central, and was also assistant wrestling coach at Caldwell High School. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, but most of all spending time with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Dana Matthew Robison; and one sister, Mildred Fish.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary-Rose DiMarco Robison, of Woodsfield; sons, Dean “Dino” Robison of Los Angeles, California, Paul (Christine) Robison of Lewisville, and Dustin (Christine) Robison of Caldwell; brother, William (Charlene) Robison; two sisters, Martha Beck and Sandy Nagy; grandchildren, Gabriella, Casey, Payton, Elizabeth, and Dominic Robison; and step-grandchildren, Joni, Jordan, Jenna, and Jake Pethtel.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 6, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, December 7, at St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church, Woodsfield, with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Sylvester Church Cemetery.
