Nada Eileen Beardmore

Nada Eileen Beardmore, 96, of Woodsfield, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the Arbors of Woodsfield.

She was born in Alledonia, on Aug. 23, 1923, a daughter of the late Francis and Eva Moore Saffell.

Nada was a homemaker and a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield. She was also a former member of the Happy Heart Singers and a former volunteer at the Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. Nada enjoyed gardening, sewing, singing and playing the piano.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edison “Eddie” Beardmore on June 19, 2001; a son, Thomas Brent Beardmore; two sisters, Geneva Beardmore and Juanita Wright; and a brother, Russell Saffell.

Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn (Herman “Eddie”) Martin, of Woodsfield; one son, Ronnie (Kathy) Beardmore, of Woodsfield; five grandchildren, Tereca (Brian) Rubel, Perry Martin, Jason (Angela) Beardmore, Jeremy (Aimee) Beardmore, Justin (Nathan Holtsclaw) Beardmore; eight great-grandchildren, Regan and Spencer Rubel, Alivia and Hannah Beardmore, Gauge, Acacia and Andy Clamore, and Dakota Beardmore.

Abiding with the State of Ohio recommendations for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, a private visitation and funeral service for family only were held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, with Keith Jones and Scott McFarland officiating at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield.

Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
