Paul G. Crum, 92, of 36796 County Road 2 East, Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield. He was born near Caldwell, on June 17, 1922, a son of the late John and Agnes Schockling Crum. Paul was a farmer and a retired maintenance carpenter for the Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, Ohio where he was a member of the St. Francis Society. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Walter and Andrew Crum. Two sisters: Leona Hohman and Lucy Kress. A daughter-in-law, PAUL CRUM Robin Crum. Surviving are his wife, Stella Burkhart Crum whom he married on September 9, 1950. Four daughters: Joann (Clifford) Swearman of Kingwood, Pennsylvania, Mary Crum of Gahanna, Ohio, Elizabeth (Timothy) Betts of Hebron, Ohio, Jane (Andrew) Bare of Liberty Township, Ohio. Five sons: Dr. Robert (Jennylind) Crum of Woodsfield, Ohio, Dr. Ed Crum of Wheeling, West Virginia, Joseph (Susan) Crum of New Albany, Ohio, John (Patricia) Crum of Wooster, Ohio, James (Lynn) Crum of Pataskala, Ohio. Twenty-four grandchildren, Four great- grandchildren. Friends were received at  the Watters Funeral Home, July 21, 2014, along with vigil services. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 22, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, with Rev. David Gaydosik as the Celebrant. Burial followed in the St. Sylvester Catholic Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio. Arrangements by Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield.
