ROBERT “BOB” GAYDOSIK
Robert “Bob” Gaydosik, 87, of Summerfield, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at his home.
He was born at Senecaville, on March 26, 1933, a son of the late Frank and Agnes Mazer Gaydosik.
Bob was a retired dozer operator for Central Ohio Coal and was a Catholic by faith. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 415, Summerfield, and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Caldwell.
He enjoyed farming, hunting, coon hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Angela Gaydosik, Josephine McMullen and Marie Grek; and three brothers, Joseph, Frank and Ed Gaydosik.
He is survived by his wife Patricia “Pat” Dimmerling Gaydosik; one daughter, Tacy (Bud) Rich, of Sarahsville; two sons, Fr. David Gaydosik, of Churchtown, and Robert (Connie) Gaydosik, of Summerfield; four grandchildren, Whitney (Travis) Snyder, Justin (Ashley) Rich, Jacob Rich and Haleigh Rich; and one great-grandson, Carlyle Snyder.
Graveside and full military services were held Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Carlisle, with Fr. David Gaydosik officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield.
