Pamela Jo “Pam” Jones, 60, of Jerusalem, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 3, 2023.
She was born Aug. 27, 1962, in Barnesville, a daughter of Karen Sue Milhoan Marshall and the late James Herbert Hershberger.
Pam enjoyed cooking and worked for many years as a cook at various restaurants throughout the area. She loved gardening and being surrounded by her family. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind heart and the quiet joy she found in helping others. Pam was an active member of the Woodsfield Moose Lodge, the Woodsfield Eagles, the Woodsfield VFW and the Beallsville American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition to her father, James Hershberger, Pam was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Madison Daniels, and a special friend, Vaughn Long.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Karen Milhoan Marshall, of Woodsfield; a son, James (Kari) Hershberger, of Stafford, two daughters, Tabitha (Ray) Baker, of Beallsville, and Jennifer Daniels (Leslie Atherton), of Jerusalem; a sister, Rita Wiley, of Woodsfield; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren with another great-grandchild on the way; a nephew and a niece; three great-nephews and a great-niece; also many friends and extended family members.
Visitation was held Monday, March 6, 2023, at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, Beallsville, by a brief service by the Beallsville American Legion Auxiliary.
Atime of sharing memories and stories continued after the service as family and friends honored Pam’s memory by sharing their memories. Burial followed in Beallsville Cemetery.
