PANDORA NEUHART
Pandora Jean Neuhart, 73, our beloved sister and aunt went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Monday September 29th at her home in Woodsfield. Pandora was born on September 8, 1952 in Martins Ferry. She was preceded in death by her parents Lenora (Kindall) and James Neuhart and brother (Clance) Seymour Neuhart. She is survived by her sister Deborah Neuhart and brother Nelson Kindall and wife Annie. Nieces and nephews include Jeff and Maribel Parzych, Lori and Carmen Difede, Jay and Melissa Kindall and Valerie Parzych. She also has nine great nieces and nephews and three great-great nephews.
Pandora’s love for people was immeasurable, she helped whenever and wherever she was needed, never expecting anything in return. She mentored the young and old inspiring them with love and encouragement. Pandora was Monroe County Auditor for over 20 years, and earlier the Manager of Riesbeck’s in Woodsfield for over 25 years. She was a member of the Woodsfield Presbyterian Church, a member of the Kiwanis, a former board member at Belmont College, handed out Cancer Treatment gas cards for Monroe County residents. Helped, organized and supported Charlie’s Run in Woodsfield, a member of the Monroe County Board of County Health, started and supported “Warm the Children”, worked tirelessly to support Hope Alliance a Suicide and Substance abuse program.
Pandora’s love for rescue Dobermans is another way she reached out in love, as she adopted many throughout the years. She enjoyed her rose garden, feeding many birds, cooking, she enjoyed mowing her lawn and talking with friends and family.
The Celebration of Pandora’s life will be held on Friday, October 17th at Bauer Turner Funeral Home 100 S Paul Street in Woodsfield from 10:00 a.m. thru 1:00 p.m. with the Memorial service starting at 12:00 noon. A Reception will be held at the Brown Center, 100 Creamery Street with refreshments from 2:00 4:00.
The burial service will be held privately for the family.
