Patricia Mary Gates, 92, formerly of Clarington, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Shadyside Healthcare and Rehab. Center, Shadyside, Ohio.
 She was born February 19, 1933, in Coventry, England, a daughter of the late Joseph Charles and Ethel Blanche Gray Butler.
 She was a former housekeeper at New Martinsville Health Care, New Martinsville, W.V.; she was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Clarington, and the Golden Links of the church.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Duane “Andy” Gates.
 Survivors include three daughters, Stacy (Richard) Morgan of Florida, Kelly Ann (Paul) Tilton of Maryland and Lisa Madlin of Virginia; brother Ian (Barbara) Butler, sister Audrey Szczerba, both of Coventry; and three grandchildren, Andrew Morgan, Casey Tilton and Cooper Tilton.
 No services will be held and she will be buried in Clarington Cemetery.
