Patricia Jane Thomas, age 80, of Clarington, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan.

She was born July 30, 1943, in Clarington, the daughter of the late James and Martha Dally Thomas.

She was a retired loan officer for a bank in Sistersville. She had a fierce love for all animals and a passion for the riverboat history.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Robert Smith and a sister, Elizabeth “Betty Jo” Isaly.

Survivors include a son James (Amy) Smith, of Sardis; three nieces, Kelly (Doug) Young, Lisa (Jerome) Reinhardt and Melanie (Ron) Beitzel, her beloved dog, Marty; and many special cousins including closest cousin and dear friend, Sonja Taylor.

Per Jane’s wishes no visitation or services will be held at this time.
