PAUL BUTLER

 Paul Franklin Butler, 84, of Carrollton, passed away March 16, 2025, after his courageous battle with cancer.
 Paul was born July 30, 1940, in Clarington.
 He loved hunting, fishing, working in his garden and spending time with his grandchildren.
 He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, retired from Metaullics Systems L.P., and was a deacon for several years at New Vine Baptist Church.
 He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Butler, of Malvern, and mother, Minnie Miller Butler Ross, of Clarington; brothers, James Butler of Canton, Ray Butler of Malvern, and Vincent Ross of LaBelle, Fla.; sisters, Norma Louise Butler of Clarington, Elsie Butler Scaglione of Tennessee, Susie Butler of Malvern, and Barbra Butler Grandstaff of Carrollton.
 He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth Talbot Butler of Carrollton; son, Raymie (Linda) Butler of Waynesburg; daughters, Angie Butler Haney of Malvern, Tammie (Lisa) Butler of North Lawrence, and Juanita (Chad) Grimes of Canton; brothers, Richard (Sheryl) Butler of Canton, Pete Butler of Malvern, and Jake (Kathy) Butler of North Carolina; sisters, Rosie Butler Simmons of Malvern, Norma Butler Cole of Massillon, and Betty Ross Kinney, Martha Sitterson Hoebee and Della Poling Leduc of Clarington; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
 A memorial service was held April 5, 2025, at New Vine Baptist Church of Malvern.
