Rhonda Jean Britton, 70, of Beallsville, died Nov. 26, 2020, at her home. 

She was born Jan. 20, 1950, in Barnesville Hospital, a daughter of the late James and Jane Palmer Mellott. 

Rhonda was active in the Beallsville Football and Wrestling Boosters, also she was a member of the Beallsville E-Squad Auxiliary. 

She was an advisor for both the Beallsville GWA and Beallsville Majorettes. 

Left to mourn her passing are her husband of 46 years, Sammy Britton; three children, Michael (Lora) Brock, Chad Britton and Samantha Brewer; seven grandchildren, Cameron Brock, Reba Brewer, Craig Brewer, Emily Brewer, Nichole Farnsworth, Jennifer Lake and Jonothan Carpenter; three great-grandchildren, Brianna Kinney, Brayden Harris and Lilith Eddy; five siblings, Randy Mellott, Gary Mellott, Rusty Mellott, Robin Merritt and Scotty Mellott; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. 

Visitation was Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville, where funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020. Burial followed in Beallsville Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.harperfh.net.
