Richard Lewis Patton, 76, of Circleville, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the James Cancer Center, Columbus.

He was born at Columbus on March 18, 1947, a son of the late Lewis and Millicent Clouse Patton.

Richard was a retired customer service representative for Mountain Bell Telephone Company and Qwest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret “Peggy” Brenot and his partner, Bill Wittenbrook.

Surviving are three nephews; Steve (Cheri) Brenot, Shawn Brenot and Timothy (Amber) Moore; several nieces; a great niece, Shannon Brenot and her daughter, Ryia Brenot; great nephew, Preston Harding and a step-daughter, Marla Kuhn.

There will be no visitation. At Richard’s request, a cremation will take place with inurnment at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield.
