Roger L. Dalrymple Sr., 68, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Woodsfield May 9, 1951, a son of the late Albert (Bud) and Waneta Highman Dalrymple.

He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, April; one son, Patrick; brothers, Harry, Larry, and Sonny Dalrymple; and one sister, Janice Mathews.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Lucas Dalrymple, of Woodsfield; son, Roger (Sarah) Dalrymple Jr., of Lewisville; two grandchildren, Caitlyne and Caisey Arden; brothers, Raymond and Herbert Dalrymple; sisters, Cheryl Wise and Donna Clark, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family were received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral services at 4 p.m. Friday, November 22, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, with Rusty Atkinson officiating. Military services were held Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
