Ronald “Ron” E. Marty, 67, of Sardis, Ohio, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
 He was born November 21, 1956, in New Martinsville, W.V., a son of the late Clyde and Patricia (Tisher) Marty.
 Ron retired from Ormet Corporation, was a Christian by faith, loved farming, and riding his tractors and going to tractor pulls.
 Survivors include his companion, Kathy Stocker; his aunt and uncle, Inez and Perry Frye; his cousins, Connie Jo (Scott) Lehman, Tammie Shreve and Paul Marty; many friends including, Tim and Kathie McKelvey and family.
 Family received friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, with Rev. Darla Schnegg officiating.
 Interment was in Emma Grove Cemetery, Hannibal, Ohio.
