Ruth A. Pfalzgraf, 88, of Clarington, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Adams Township, Monroe County, March 25, 1934, a daughter of the late Clark and Helen Truex Craig.
Ruth was baptized at the Goudy Church of Christ in 1948. She worked at Riesbeck’s in Woodsfield for more than 35 years, and also worked 17 years for Foster Grandparents in Moundsville, West Virginia. She was always there with a helping hand to all her family and friends. She will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Pfalzgraf; two sisters, Rosemary Ickes and Mary Krownapple; three brothers, Stephen Craig, Robert Dean Craig and David Craig.
She is survived by her four children, Daniel (Lori) Pfalzgraf, Janet VanKirk, Edgar (Sheryl) Pfalzgraf, and Deborah (John) Palmer; two sisters, Elsie McMorrow and Linda (Dave) Wood; and 10 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, with Sam Bartrug officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery near Clarington.
