Shirley DeGraw Graves Weber, wife of Monroe County native Edsel Vernon Weber, passed away peacefully in her home at Lakeland, Florida on Dec. 27, 2022.

She had turned 95 years young on Oct. 5, 2022, surrounded by friends and family at a beautiful birthday party as shown in the photo. Her husband age 96, was beside her until her last breath.

They spent many years in Monroe County at the Weber family heritage farm in Lewisville.

She was a trained interior designer by profession, having graduated from the Kendall School of Interior Design and owned several fashion and home decor businesses.

She is survived by husband, Ed; daughters, Lynn Graves, Leslie Graves, and Lee-Anne Graves; and son, Jeffrey and wife Mary; step-daughters, Yvonne Reusser, of Woodsfield, Kathleen Metzger, of Texas, and Ruby Weber, of Cuyahoga Falls; six grandchildren including Karena Cooper, Natalie Bott, and Jordan Reusser, all of Woodsfield, and George, of Arizona; and six step-grandchildren.

Her daughter, Lauren, preceded her in death as well as her step-grandson, Ben Hutchison.

Memorial services were held in Lakeland, Florida.
