River’s Lukas Isaly and John Murphy block an attempted shot from Shenandoah’s Kendal Sherman Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Shenandoah High School.

Isaly’s big game leads Pilots past Zeps

One game after he didn’t score a point for the first time in his career, River senior Lukas Isaly made up for it in a big way.

Isaly put his team on his back to help the Pilots remain unbeaten in a 47-30 victory over the Zeps Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Shenandoah High School.

Isaly outscored Shenandoah all by himself, scoring a game-high 32 points.

Isaly was consistent in the first half, finishing with 11 points at the break as River (9-0) led 21-16.

But it was the second half where he did most of his damage.
