Lady Devils heading to OVAC final

Beallsville have a shot at its first Ohio Valley Athletic Conference championship since 2010 as the Lady Devils took down Morgantown Trinity 40-36 Monday, Feb. 5 in the OVAC Class 1A semifinal at Beallsville High School.

The Lady Blue Devils were able to jump ahead early, with Ashlie Louden and Ashley Howell scoring four points each in the first quarter as Beallsville shot out to a 10-2 lead.

Trinity rallied back to tie the game in the second quarter, but Beallsville was able to take a 16-13 lead into the half thanks to four points from Louden late in the quarter.
