Lady Seminoles fall at Shenandoah

Monroe Central took a tough Pioneer Valley Conference defeat Thursday, Oct. 5 at Shenandoah High School and it cost them a spot in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference volleyball tournament.

The Lady Seminoles were fighting for the fourth and final spot in the OVAC Class 3A tournament, but the 25-19, 21-25, 20-25, 19-25 loss to the Lady Zeps dropped them to fifth, .11 points behind fourth-place Wheeling Central Catholic.

The loss dropped Monroe Central to 12-7 overall on the season and 3-3 in the PVC.
