Monroe Central’s dream season comes to an end

Monroe Central had already accomplished more than any other team in school history as it took the floor Wednesday, Nov. 1 for its Division IV regional semifinal against Fairfield Christian Academy at Lancaster High School.

One week prior, the Lady Seminoles had knocked off Malvern for the district title, the first for any team from Monroe Central or Woodsfield high schools.

Monroe Central showed it belonged among the top 16 teams in Division IV, as it overcame an early five-point hole to take the first set 25-23.
