River storms past Magnolia

River entered the year with plenty of new faces on both sides of the ball.

Graduation hit the Pilots hard, especially on the offensive line, where the only returning starter was senior Luc Baker.

The River line started to show its potential in its Week 4 battle against Magnolia Thursday, Sept. 14, and did that by having its best game of the year.

The Pilots controlled the line of scrimmage and dominated the Blue Eagles, rushing for 456 yards and five touchdowns in a 35-21 victory.
