Sylvia Ilene Hoke, 82 of Beallsville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Wetzel County Hospital.
 Sylvia was born on March 14, 1942, the daughter of the late George and Arminda Vaness.
 Sylvia was a homemaker and went to Cameron Church of Christ.
 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
 Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Paul Hoke; three sons, Gary Hoke of Indiana, Ronald Hoke of Caldwell and Donald (Barbara) Hoke of Woodsfield, Ohio; daughter, Lynda (Roger) Pugh of Williamstown, W.V.; brother, Ralph Vaness of Rittman, Ohio; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
 No services will be held.
