Teresa Drengacs, 63, formerly of Powhatan Point, now residing in Rayland died, Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at her home. 

She was born on Jan. 28, 1957, in Martins Ferry, to Martha (Jones) Ady and the late Glenn Ady. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Drengacs III. 

Teresa, known as Guh-Guh to her family, was a retired bookkeeper from the First National Bank Powhatan Point. Also, she was a member of The Church of Christ. 

Guh-Guh loved spending time with her family and loved ones and loved them beyond measure. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, sister and aunt. However, she shined the most as Guh-Guh to her grandchildren. She loved the sunshine and the warmth of a summer day. That warmth was spread to others through her love. Guh-Guh will be missed, greatly. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Josh) Lude; her son, Jeremy (Jill) Drengacs; two grandchildren, Rylee and Gabriel Lude; two brothers, Mark (Theresa) and Kevin Ady and her beloved and spoiled dog, Boone. 

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Teresa and celebrate her life Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service of 7 p.m., with Pastor Christian Faulkner officiating, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter in Teresa’s name. 

Masks and social distancing will be required during service hours.
