Thomas K. Lowe, 91, formerly of Paden City, W.V., passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Marietta, Ohio.
He was born April 6, 1933, in Jacksonburg, Wetzel County, W.V., the son of the late Harry Gene and Mary Edna (Merrifield) Lowe.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korea War and a former employee of Ormet Corporation from 1957 until 1996. He was a member of VFW #9930 of Duffy, Ohio, American Legion Post #28 of New Martinsville for 69 years and New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931 for over 62 years. He loved to trout fish, was an avid hunter and loved watching and feeding the birds.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lowe; a daughter Cynthia Lowe; two sisters, Mary E. Steele and Marjorie Lowe; two brothers Jerry Lowe and Keith Lowe; a stepbrother Lionel Lowe; grandfather, Presley Lowe.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Lowe of Landisville, Pa., and Craig (Tosha) Lowe of Marietta; a daughter, Becky (Dave) Woodby of Newport, Ohio; mother of children Delores J. Marshall; sister, Katy Day of Fairview, W.V.; two grandchildren, Chelsea (Cary) Wichterman of Sardis, Ohio, and Garrett Nunn of Marietta; four step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville.
Interment at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville.
