William E. “Bill” Clift Jr., 55, of Lower Salem, (Marr Community) passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta.
He was born in Marietta on March 7, 1965, a son of Irene Cline Clift who survives of Caldwell and the late William E. Clift Sr.
He was a shipping coordinator for Dimex Corporation, Reno. He was also a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Lebanon.
He enjoyed attending car shows, camping, mowing the yard, golfing, fishing and spending time with family.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Armstrong Clift, whom he married on Sept. 6, 1986; one daughter, Brittany (Michael) Johnson, of Caldwell; one son, Cass (Leah) Clift, of the family farm in Marr; three sisters, Kathy (Ed) Crock, of Caldwell, Chris (Dennis) Ward, of Jerusalem, and Jeanine (David) Colvin, of Georgia; a special and favorite grandson, Rylar William Clift; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-inlaw, Naomi Armstrong, of Brownsville.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020, at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020, at the Masterton Cemetery, Lebanon, with Pastor Jim Porter officiating.
